Why Support The Depot?

Darien as a community is checking every box for youth success in academics, the arts, and athletics. But the incidences of social and other stresses in our young people’s lives is on the rise, leading to deeper concerns in areas like anxiety, depression and other emotional and behavioral troubles. Our priority is to focus on mental health for the youth of Darien.  Statistics show volunteering, giving back and human connections help our youth feel HAPPY.  The Depot is Darien’s judgment free, safe home-away-from-home to discover human connections, leadership opportunities and wellness education.  The Depot programs last year reached 2,600 kids, building a foundation of confidence and a skill set to make healthy choices for life!

Because of generous donors like you, The Depot can evolve with the immediate needs of our youth.  Thank you for making an impact today!
